Mothers Day 2009

Mothers day this year was nice. I really enjoyed it. First of all I had to work the night before so when I got off of work I came home to a spotlessly clean house. My wonderful hubby and Mckinzi had cleaned it for me and Jason left me some beautiful flowers on the counter. He also got me some hanging plant holders I have been wanting. So I went to bed and was able to sleep till about 2:30pm. Tyelar and Oakley cam home from there dads about 3:30 and then we went to the park for a family BBQ. My most favorite thing in the world is spending time with my family. Even though not all of us were able to make it I really enjoyed the time there.
Both Tyelar and Oakley made me stuff in school for Mothers Day. Tyelar made me a story of all the things I do for her that she loves and Oakley made me a beautiful card and flower. When we came home watched some tv with my hubby and took a nap then headed back to work. Not the most exciting day but it was so chill I loved it!!!!
I also want to take a moment to express my love to my mother. She is the most amazing woman in the world. I hope to be like her in every way. I am so thankful for her and the example she sets. She is my hero and I love her more than anything!!!

It's been way to long...

So much has happened since the year began... well prob not a ton but we will start with the end of last year Tyelar got baptized. It was a very wonderful day. She was so moved by the spirit that she cried when she was confirmed a member of the church. She is a special girl sent here with a special mission. She defiantly keeps me in line. She has also started karate, which she loves and does so good at, she recently achieved the yellow belt. She is doing awesome in school, loves to read and loves to hang out with her friends.

Mckinzi and Brayden, about a month ago, started archery. They had a competition today and both got first place trophy's. They have there own compound bow and they can't get enough of it. Those pics I will have to post later.
Mckinzi also graduated from the D.A.R.E program. The 6th grade class was asked to write an essay on the program and hers was chosen to be read at graduation. I am so proud of her....

Her teacher was so impressed with how much if her family showed up. No one else in her 6th grade had this many people show up. Thanks to everyone that came.

Then my hubby took me to the Jessica Sipmson Rascal Flatts concert!!!! That was so much fun. Jessica Simpson is my fav

Then for Easter we went to Moab which as always was a blast. Only Kinz and Brayden went with us this year.
There is prob a ton more stuff that has happened. I really need to remeber to write about it when it happens. I will try harder. But I am going to make a slide show of random pics that has happened this year.

Winter is here....

and its cold. I hate it but the kids they love it. They cant wait to go outside and play in the snow. In the middle of our apartment complex there is a huge bowl and the kids like to slide down it with there sleds... or on there buts. I like it because I can threaten them, if they dont clean there room they cant go out and play. It works great :) anyway I took some pics and video of the kids...

Family Night

Last Monday night we went to the Church History Museum for family night with Carmen, BG and there kids. We had so much fun. There was a lot to see and we did not get a chance to see it all. When you go there they can give you a paper that will ask questions about certain objects there and you have to answer questions about it. It's fun for the kids. It's almost like a scavenger hunt. This is a great family night activity. After we went to Carmens house and ate cookies, drank hot chocolate, and played the Wii.... thanks Carmen for the invite we had so much fun!!! Here is some pics of cookie face keeley....

here is a slide show of the evening....

Carving Pumpkins

This time of year is my favorite. I love the holidays. I love the family togetherness (if that is a word), just everything, I love it.
So tonight we carved pumpkins. It was so much fun. I think Jason had more fun than the kids did :) Anyway here are some pics.
