So we had our reception. On Febuary 7, 2008 and then left for our honeymoon. We went to California. As ya all know I am from Sacramento so I had some friends there that we visited and we went to San Fransico. It was a lot of fun.
Our reception was nice. There was a lot of people that did not show and I was a bit dissapointed.... oh well what do ya do. At least you know the ones that truly love you.
Our Cali trip was a blast. When we first got there Jen came to pick us up *tear* I had not seen her in wow 17 years. We went out to lunch...shoped a bit.. then met up with Tanya and Jesse at Starbucks. It was supposed to be a suprise but Jesse spilled the beans the night before. SUCK! Oh well it was really nice to spend the time with all of them. Tanya and Jesse came to see us in October that was the first time for Tanya and I in 17 years.
It was Tanyas 30th birthday which was our original plan for going out there but then we got married so we decided to use it as out honeymoon. Her party was a lot of fun. It was kinda sad because I did not get to see much of Jen while we were there, in fact I never got to meet her hubby. Her papa was in the hospital and actually died the day after we left Cali so she was with him most the time. I totaly understand. So were just going to have to plan another trip. I would really like to take the kids and spend a few days with them in San Fran. I think they would love it.
The weather was so nice and the flight there and back was good also. I loved seeing old friends and my old neighbor hood. The only thing I regret was not having more time there. I loved being able to share that part of my life with my husband. We also checked out the Sacramento Temple while we were there, it was beautiful!
